ACES Power Marketing Implements an Electronic Records Management System provided by Document Imaging Solutions

DAYTON, Ohio, For immediate release – Document Imaging Solutions, Inc. (DIS), an applications development and full-service systems integration company has provided a customized solution, to automate and streamline many of ACES Power Marketing (APM) paper documents and processes.

is a robust, "out-of-the-box" open document/records management system for enterprise networks, corporate Intranets, and the Internet. It manages documents throughout their life cycle, from authoring and/or capture through review, approval, distribution, and archiving.

The System at APM manages contracts, membership documents, correspondence and other business documentation that are scanned, indexed, stored and then made available for viewing on-line by all authorized users. In addition, documents may be submitted on-line from Regional Trading Centers and other field locations for indexing and storage. These documents are then also available for viewing by the users.

After investigating numerous other suppliers, APM chose DIS and for its records management solution because the DIS custom solution targeted APM’s needs much better than any other vendor. “In addition, document retention scheduling was a big issue, and the DIS solution completely met our needs,” said Jeff Walker, Senior Vice President & Chief Risk Officer for APM.
